Last Saturday I did something I haven’t done for what feels like years – nothing! For six whole blissful hours!
I woke up feeling a little worse for wear after going out with the other foreigners the night before and drinking around 8-10 2000cc pitchers of beer between eight of us!!! I had arrived home at 4am to find I had run out of bottled water and milk, and drinking boiled then cooled water was starting to take its tool. After composing myself I rubbed off the last of the previous nights mascara threw on some clothes and headed to the local shop for supplies. After picking up essentials plus some hangover curing chocolate I headed back to the flat for a much-needed fry up.
The inability to get baked beans or any decent sausages or bacon makes Korean fry up’s interesting. On this particular morning I had three smoked frankfurter sausages, two slices of bread (I don’t have any form of toast making device!) and a fried egg. With a large bar of chocolate for desert (obviously!). In my hangover state, it tasted pretty good! Then after eating I resided in my bed for the next four hours reading and dozing. What a way to spend a Saturday!
