Well I’ve arrived and my orientation this time was somewhat less traumatic than on my last visit to this fair land (I will report some of the old blog to give a flavour of my previous Korean experiences). Although the extreme tiredness is making me feel very emotional!
The journey itself was uneventful but not being able to withdraw any cash on my arrival wasn’t helpful (thanks Halifax). Luckily the ever trusty Nationwide saved the day and I emptied our joint account of funds – opps sorry Andy!
Luckily, on arriving at Seoul station I decided the first thing I should do was book a ticket to Daegu for tomorrow morning as there was one seat left on one train (that goes at 7:30am). If I’d just tuned up in the morning my plans of spending the weekend with Miss April would have been ruined!
So now I’m tucked away in a pleasant guest house waiting for a time to go to sleep that might see me sleep through the night. As it has now gone 7pm here and I left England almost 24 hours ago it’s time for a shower and bed me thinks.
Why is Korean jam so much more sticky than any other jam?

If you do find the answer, don’t tell me if it’s grim.

I think I know. The story I heard about Love Motels when I was living here was very different to the version April believes. Once I’m out of here I’ll be on Google and will be sure to fill you in! That said, I’ve not seen another person since I’ve been here. Although the dodgy Korean porn channel on the TV is a bit disturbing! And no I’ve not been watching it.
