It seems in Kumdan the party season came early and is already on the verge of dieing out!

Up until this weekend there had been a wave of birthday parties and, or course, Caroline’s farewell but now as Christmas approaches everyone is partied out!

Two weekends ago (25/11/06) we celebrated with Emily as she turned 23 (making me feel incredibly old!)

Then after spending the evening out partying in Bupeyong Kat disgraced herself (“It was the white Russian that did it!”) being sick out the taxi window on the way home! Then trying to take her sick covered top off in the middle of Kumdun sageori (kumdan intersection), not a smart move in Korea!!

Then the following Wednesday (25/11/06) it was time for a slightly more sedate evening as Sam (an Aussie guy who worked with Caroline)  celebrated his 30th with a meal and a few beers.

Two days later (01/12/06) it was time for another p**s up as Sam and Caroline had a joint birthday farewell celebration in the form of a house party and Rob and Wendy’s. The night turned into a photo fest with everyone eagerly posing for the cameras – something everyone admitted they would never do in their home country.

Then party season was rounded off with some fried chicken and some beers the night before Caroline departed for New Zealand (06/12/06).
