It’s (was) snowing in Kumdan

It’s been SNOWING in Kumdan. (Kumdan being the part of Incheon in South Korea where I am living. And yes when you say it it does sound remarkably like condom.)

Waking up yesterday morning I was most excited when I spotted snow nestling on the rooftops below my apartment (I live on the 11th floor).  After the trials and tribulations of the last week, my mood was lifted slightly knowing the snowboarding season was just round the corner!

Running over to the window and checking out the road beneath I was disappointed to realise the snow had already disappeared from ground level but dived for my camera anyway wishing to document the event.

As I walked to school it began snowing again. Watching the white flakes hit the pavement and melt away it occurred to me that no matter how old I get I’m always excited when it snows? (To the point where I felt the need to blog it!!) Maybe it’s living in England and snow being such a rare occurrence, or maybe it’s the snowboarder in me desperate to go and damage myself on the slopes? Whatever, I was excited.
